Are You Collecting Email Addresses? Why Not?

Recommended Posts

Email and Internet marketing is not a fad, it's here to stay and will continue to explode in the coming years. If you're not already using the Internet and email addresses as part of you marketing and advertising plan, you soon will.

If you not doing it already, start collecting email addresses from customers. If you belong to local organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, get those lists too. There may be some restrictions, but get them. I have obtained email lists from all the local Chamber of Commerce's, clubs and business groups just by asking.

Create email newsletter or a monthly car tips email. I use Constant Contact to create a professional looking email which has links back to my web site, it is great marketing and still free.

Here's the link to Constant Contact if you are interested. http://www.constantcontact.com/index.jsp

If you a sample of one of my emails, let me know...

We just put together an email blast to all off our existing customers. It basically says they get 10% off all previously recommended repairs, and 5% off all other repairs, but only in conjunction with previously recommended repairs. We'll see how this works.

Today we changed the social network icons that we had above each thread, to a service from AddThis. It will simplify sharing content off of AutoShopOwner onto other sites such as Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc.
When you share any page or content off of AutoShopOwner, you are linking it onto another site..in turn helping AutoShopOwner grow and branch out. Every time you share, you help this community!
The footer bar now includes the folowing icons:

At the top of each thread you will also see:

These are the sharing icons. Hit the plus icon for more websites to share content on.
We also included a print icon (for easy page printing), a favorites icon (to add a page to your browser favorites), and an email icon (to easily email someone a page)
Please help us spread the word about AutoShopOwner. When you feel something will be of interest to others, Share It!
