The Health Care Issue headed in the wrong direction

Recommended Posts

I got a bad feeling about the health care bill. I think it will pass, and that greatly concerns me. Do we have a health "care" problem in this country? No, we have a health care “cost” problem that’s riddle with so much red tape and years of abuse from a system the breeds waste. My father did not have health care and provided for a family of four boys. My mother did not work, that’s the way things were years ago. What happened? Who told us that the government needs to take care of us, because we can’t?

I am concerned about the rising costs of health care, but I’m more concerned about this movement toward government control.

Did anyone hear House Speaker Nancy Pelosi when she said we have to pass the bill first to find out what’s in it? Is she kidding? That’s like you tell a customer they need a lot of work on their car, and when they ask what and how much, you answer; just agree to fix the car, then I will tell you how much it will cost and what we did.

Please, everyone get involved; if you think I’m wrong…tell me why.

I can tell you being a resident of TN, we have the same basic idea here. It has cost 3 times what they predicted it would be and guess what, there is rationing of care. I have a bad feeling it will pass as well and if it does, time for me too get as healthy as I can so I don't have to attempt to go to the doctor anymore.

Joe, you are right but I don't know what I am going to do now to change a thing. Our U.S. representative has announced he will vote for it although the overwhelming majority of his conservative constituents are againts it. It seems that the Democratic Party cares nothing about the will of the people. Who are they elected to represent anyway? This legislation will place a mandate on small business like ours that will only make it harder to survive and be profitable. Do you think they have any idea how hard it is to make any money?

I think you go it right, they don't care. They want bigger government, not help grow businesses in this country. Their agenda is not in align with the people, I fear we are moving closer and closer to socialism.

What New Health Care Law Means to You

Health Care...

This is another example of "Feel Good" legislation. The fact is that someone will have to pay for this. When will the people of this once great land stand up and say, "we have had enough"!

The waste, fruad, phony law suits and political agendas have more to do with what's wrong in this country than anything else.

This administration wants to grow the size of government, and that's goes against the princples of why and how this country was formed:

"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have ... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases". Thomas Jefferson

That quote from Thomas Jefferson says it all. The schools don't teach history anymore so there is no learning from the past and those that don't learn from the past are destined to repeat the same stupid mistakes.

This country was founded by great people, that most of us have forgotten.

You know the health care bill is 2,700 pages? The US Constitution is only 6. That speaks volumes!

I understand the ones that voted for it didn't even know what all it contained. How could they with that many pages. The only way I see to change our government is to let them know we will not vote for them again. It is time we all made our vote count and that is the only way

You are right on both counts. The people in this country must get out on election day and tell this adminstration: We will not take it any longer!

American capitalism gone with a whimper

American capitalism gone with a whimper - Pravda.Ru

This article not only rings true...it downright scary!

We have created a population of uneducated, ill-informed people. The question is can we stop it?

I just read in the Wall Street Journal about how a number of school districts have gone to a 4-day school week to save money on their budget. SAVE MONEY!

Who is running the asylum, the insane? How much will a four day school week cost us in the future? Our younger generation has a hard enough time competing now. Other countries have extended their school; we want to retreat?

There is a hidden agenda that’s moving this country in the wrong direction.

Unfortunately for him, he looks a lot like me. :)

My wife was doing a 6 week maternity teaching break for a teacher when Carson and I went down to this meeting. She made a comment she was a little nervous with me watching him while she was teaching because I was turning him into a picketting fanatic. LOL

The word OSHA makes many shop owners cringe.
I was lucky enough years back to have my insurance agent suggest I perform a voluntary OSHA inspection. A private company did it at the time.
They found tons of violations; some we knew would be flagged, but most we did not.
Have you ever had an OSHA inspection? And what can shop owners do to protect themselves?

In this episode, we are jumping into the mind of your customer. From their perspective, do they prefer to use the term mechanic or technician? Ask a customer … How much do they think a mechanic/technician earns? What is your customer's opinion on a service advisor having visible tattoos or smelling like cigarettes? Bob Cooper asked these questions to a panel of consumers at the 2022 Elite Invitational in San Diego, and their answers will certainly surprise you. And more importantly, what should you do in your business having this knowledge?

The consumer panel- you’re ideal customers, 3 from the dealership, 3 from independent   No matter how well your customers love you, they could love you like a rainbow, but there are some things that they will never ever tell you. How do we get inside of their minds and how do we learn? What's really important to them? How much a technician mechanic makes per hour? We need to get the perception and reality that people need to know you can earn a really good income in this industry  Be aware that you're gonna have a lot of customers that come in and may never come back if they smell smoke on your advisor or on any of your people and in their car. It's all marketing- align your image. Use surveys and programs to tell you what is important to customers Would you say mechanic, or would you say a technician?  Both of those terms, mechanic and technician, have a role in our industry.  A technician is a person employed to look after technical equipment or do practical work in a laboratory, an expert in a practical application of science or a person skilled in the technique of an art or craft technician. Examples of technicians are theatrical technicians, school, laboratory technicians, engineering technicians, laboratory technicians, electronics technicians, x-ray technicians. Mechanic is defined as an artisan skilled tradesperson who uses tools to build, maintain, or repair machinery The more we could bring the, the communication and the understanding between the customers and the technicians and the industry closer together, the more successful we'll be, and when it comes to SEO, just imagine what's gonna happen to the shop owners that start embedding mechanic What are some of the things that you could do to really. Make that customer go, you know what? I'm in the right place. I'm dealing with the right people Complimentary Elite Customer Care Guide Template HERE

July 7, 2022—As another delay impedes progress in the Right to Repair battle, the Automotive Care Alliance is asking its members to step up their support of the proposed legislation, ‘Right to Equitable and Professional Auto Industry Repair (REPAIR) Act’  (H.R. 6570), which puts the power of automotive repair choice into the hands of the consumer and allow independent repair shops access to pertinent tools and data to help these customers.
