The election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts is a clear message that the people are not happy with the current democratic administration. I think the next few months will be very interesting.

When people voted for the current administration they voted for a grab bag. Nobody knew what was in the bag especially because he was the media's golden boy and they keep everything quiet. When they voted the discontent voters hoped for a nice prize instead they got booby trapped. Almost like bait and switch advertising in our business. Now they are reacting with open eyes. Obama campaigned in Virginia, New Jersey, and now Massachusetts unsuccessfully. His campaigning for Democrats in the fall will be about as welcome as Bush was campaigning for Republicans at the end of his term.

I hope you are right. I want this to be a sign that the tide is starting to turn. This power-hungry administration must wake up and understand that this a nation of free thinkers.

To quote Lincoln: "and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth".

Suddenly, a cow walks out into the road, the car hits it full on, and the car comes to a stop.

Nancy, in her usual charming manner, says to the chauffeur, "You get out and check--you were driving.."

So the chauffeur gets out, checks, and reports that the animal is dead but that it was old.

"You were driving, so you go and tell the farmer," says Nancy.

Two hours later the chauffeur returns totally plastered, hair ruffled with a big grin on his face.

"My God, what happened to you?" asks Nancy ?"

The chauffeur replies, "When I got there, the farmer opened his best bottle of malt whisky, the wife gave me a slap-up meal and the daughter made love to me."

"What on earth did you say?" asks Nancy.

"I just knocked on the door and when it opened I said to them, "I'm Nancy Pelosi's chauffeur, and I've just killed the old cow."

The Real Obama Economic Plan: Overwhelming the System to Destroy Capitalism and Freedom

It's time to stop mincing words. Obama is not a fool. He is not incompetent. He is not a madman. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis, and social chaos- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within. But the bonus is brilliant...as he destroys and taxes to death business owners, he also cripples his political opposition.

Rahm Emanuel cynically said, "You never want a crisis to go to waste." It is now becoming clear that the crisis he was referring to is Obama's Presidency. As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Obama's Columbia University. In 1966, they outlined a plan to socialize America by OVERWHELMING the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to overwhelm the system, wreck the U.S. economy, damage or destroy the free market, in order to turn the U.S. into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival.

*Universal healthcare. The healthcare bill had very little to do with healthcare. It had everything to do with adding millions of new union and government employees (sixteen thousand new IRS agents) feeding at the public trough. Obama doesn't care that giving free healthcare to 30 million Americans will add TRILLIONS to the national debt. Or that not one new doctor was added to the system, thereby causing a healthcare crisis. What he does care about is that it overwhelms the system and cements the dependence and loyalty of those 30 million voters to Obama and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression? Why now? Why the rush? Why risk destroying the economy on a reckless, unproven scheme? There is only one answer -- OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

*Cap and trade. Like healthcare legislation having nothing to do with healthcare, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with overwhelming the system, redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to unions and Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE who owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything and anything Obama wants. They will kick back hundreds of millions in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around." Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless tax and spending bill in the middle of a depression? Why now? Why the rush? Why risk destroying the economy on a reckless, unproven scheme? There is only one answer -- OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

*Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Certainly not the Puerto Ricans, who have repeatedly voted against it, and certainly not American taxpayers. Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat Senators, five Democrat Congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would support this reckless scheme in the middle of a depression? Why now? Why the rush? There is only one answer -- OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

*Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free healthcare alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But hey...it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters- who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security. Who but a socialist revolutionary would support this in the middle of a depression? Why now? Why the rush? There is only one answer -- OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

*Card check. This disastrous bill creates more union employees EVERYWHERE- all of them Democratic voters. More union employees mean more union dues and hundreds of millions of new dollars to spend on campaign contributions to Democrats. Who cares that it will damage the capitalist system? Who but a socialist revolutionary would support this scheme in the middle of a depression? Why now? Why the rush? There is only one answer-- OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

*Stimulus & Bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions- including billions of dollars to save the jobs of government employees across the country, and billions more to hire new government employees. It went to save GM and Chrysler, so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1,000,000 in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby saving their union dues to teachers unions). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. And their union dues will be forwarded directly to Obama and Democrat politicians. All while the private sector is melting down. Pretty soon a government job will be the only game in town. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means. OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

*Spend trillions on bailouts. Who needs welfare mothers, when you can addict America's largest companies on welfare? These companies are now beholden to Democrat politicians and therefore powerless to criticize anything Obama does. The trillions to GM, Chrysler, AIG will never be paid back. But, that's no concern to a socialist revolutionary who wants to destroy capitalism, control business, and OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

*Raise taxes ONLY on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on 10% of the population, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing (except vote for Obama). Why? Because such a plan destroys the group that contributes the most money to fiscally conservative politicians and causes. Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to "starve the beast" (by cutting off funds for government). Obama wants to starve his political opposition by taxing them to death. OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by OVERWHELMING THE SYSTEM.

My God...Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme.

Only one thing stands in their way - you and me, the American taxpayers. If we want to save the greatest country and economic system in world history, we had better get busy. We had better fight back hard. Our children and grandchildren's futures are at stake. And please don't assume the GOP is the answer. They had their chance. Bush spent irresponsibly; Bush never vetoed a single spending bill; Bush supported bailouts, earmarks and stimulus; Bush was responsible for the Medicare expansion; Bush spent a trillion dollars on two never-ending wars; Bush was the disaster that opened the door for Obama.

The answer is to support true fiscal conservatives who understand that national debt is the real global threat to our survival. Libertarians who truly support economic freedom are the real Tea Party candidates who want to truly change "business as usual" in Washington D.C. Libertarians don't just talk the talk- we walk the walk. On November 2nd let's throw every incumbent in Congress out (with a few exceptions like Ron Paul)...and if the new class let's us down...let's throw them all out again in 2012. Eventually they'll get the message- the citizens are in charge

This article explains in detail all that is wrong with America today. The idea of OVERWHELMING THE SYSTEM clearly outlines Obama’s master plan. It’s scary to think that there is a hidden agenda to break the backs of successful small business people; we are the only hope for America.

We truly do need to send a message to Washington, but we need the collective cooperation from all those who oppose the insanity that is occurring these days.

Here is a candidate that I could support. This is Lt. Col. Allen West speaking on illegal immigration. The money quote:

“See our government wants to castigate us as the enemy. Our President went down and said that the problem is here in the United States of America. Well, you know, let’s face it. Wherever he goes he’s going to apologize for this country. I can’t stand the guy. I absolutely can’t stand him.”

WOW! What a speech. He should run for president, he would have my vote. What he is saying needs to be said. The current administration is killing the fabric of this great country. We need to change, we all need to get involved and stop this madness from happening.

This was written by Alan Caruba on his blog called warning signs: Warning Signs

"I have this theory about Barack Obama. I think he's led a kind of make-believe life in which money was provided and doors were opened because at some point early on somebody or some group took a look at this tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man with an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he could be guided toward a life in politics where his facile speaking skills could even put him in the White House.

In a very real way, he has been a young man in a very big hurry. Who else do you know has written two memoirs before the age of 45? "Dreams of My Father" was published in 1995 when he was only 34 years old. The "Audacity of Hope" followed in 2006. If, indeed, he did write them himself. There are some who think that his mentor and friend, Bill Ayers, a man who calls himself a "communist with a small 'c'" was the real author.

His political skills consisted of rarely voting on anything that might be deemed controversial. He went from a legislator in the Illinois legislature to the Senator from that state because he had the good fortune of having Mayor Daley's formidable political machine at his disposal.

He was in the U.S. Senate so briefly that his bid for the presidency was either an act of astonishing self-confidence or part of some greater game plan that had been determined before he first stepped foot in the Capital. How, many must wonder, was he selected to be a 2004 keynote speaker at the Democrat convention that nominated John Kerry when virtually no one had ever even heard of him before?

He outmaneuvered Hillary Clinton in primaries. He took Iowa by storm. A charming young man, an anomaly in the state with a very small black population, he oozed "cool" in a place where agriculture was the antithesis of cool. He dazzled the locals. And he had an army of volunteers drawn to a charisma that hid any real substance.

And then he had the great good fortune of having the Republicans select one of the most inept candidates for the presidency since Bob Dole. And then John McCain did something crazy. He picked Sarah Palin, an unknown female governor from the very distant state of Al aska . It was a ticket that was reminiscent of 1984's Walter Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro and they went down to defeat.

The mainstream political media fell in love with him. It was a schoolgirl crush with febrile commentators like Chris Mathews swooning then and now over the man. The venom directed against McCain and, in particular, Palin, was extraordinary.

Now, year plus into his first term, all of those gilded years leading up to the White House have left him unprepared to be President. Left to his own instincts, he has a talent for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. It swiftly became a joke that he could not deliver even the briefest of statements without the ever-present Tele-Prompters.

Far worse, however, is his capacity to want to "wish away" some terrible realities, not the least of which is the Islamist intention to destroy America and enslave the West. Any student of history knows how swiftly Islam initially spread. It knocked on the doors of Europe, having gained a foothold in Spain .

The great crowds that greeted him at home or on his campaign "world tour" were no substitute for having even the slightest grasp of history and the reality of a world filled with really bad people with really bad intentions.

Oddly and perhaps even inevitably, his political experience, a cakewalk, has positioned him to destroy the Democrat Party's hold on power in Congress because in the end it was never about the Party. It was always about his communist ideology, learned at an early age from family, mentors, college professors, and extreme leftist friends and colleagues.

Obama is a man who could deliver a snap judgment about a Boston police officer who arrested an "obstreperous" Harvard professor-friend, but would warn Americans against "jumping to conclusions" about a mass murderer at Fort Hood who shouted " Al lahu Akbar." The absurdity of that was lost on no one. He has since compounded this by calling the Christmas bomber "an isolated extremist" only to have to admit a day or two later that he was part of an al Qaeda plot.

He is a man who could strive to close down our detention facility at Guantanamo even though those released were known to have returned to the battlefield against America . He could even instruct his Attorney General to afford the perpetrator of 9/11 a civil trial when no one else would ever even consider such an obscenity. And he is a man who could wait three days before having anything to say about the perpetrator of yet another terrorist attack on Americans and then have to elaborate on his remarks the following day because his first statement was so lame.

The pattern repeats itself. He either blames any problem on the Bush administration or he naively seeks to wish away the truth.

Knock, knock. Anyone home? Anyone there? Barack Obama exists only as the sock puppet of his handlers, of the people who have maneuvered and manufactured this pathetic individual's life.

When anyone else would quickly and easily produce a birth certificate, this man has spent over a million dollars to deny access to his. Most other documents, the paper trail we all leave in our wake, have been sequestered from review. He has lived a make-believe life whose true facts remain hidden.

We laugh at the ventriloquist's dummy, but what do you do when the dummy is President of the United States of America?

Indian Wanting Coffee:

An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other.

He says to the waiter: "Want coffee."

The waiter says, "Sure, Chief. Coming right up."

He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee..... The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling another male buffalo with the other.

He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter: "Want coffee."

The waiter says, "Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?"

The Indian smiles and proudly says, "Training for position in United States Congress: Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, Leave mess for others to clean up, Disappear for rest of day."

To quote Lincoln: "and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Joe,

I see things very differently. I see the previous admin as very power hungry. Constitutionally abusive in fact. But none of the "free thinkers" were around. They were too busy guzzling the swill of the right wing media and spin-doctors.

As I, a true independent, free thinking American, see it we have the same garbage, the same disfunctional government with the same divisions. It's just a different party "in power." Now don't think you have to agree with me to be a true independent, free thinking American, I was just clarifying my qualifications. If the Dems weren't so scared of the Reallydumblicans and their filibuster threats then we might actually have a point to complain that the "liberals" were in power. The fact that so little has gotten accomplished is proof that little has changed in Washington. I'm sorry Abe, but the "government of the people, by the people, for the people," perished long ago. The neo-cons successfully converted it to a government of the rich, by the powerful, for the politically well connected. And the Supreme Court's ignorance in ruling that fictional soulless entities (corporations, union, etc.) with no conscience and no mortal ramifications have full right to spend limitlessly just further emphasizes that truth.

And just for those who wish to deride me or speculate, yes I lean just left of center. But remember to be progressive means you must move forward, expand, grow. But you must do it wisely. As it is in business, if you aren't growing, you are dying.

Posted

I could not begin to explain my disdain for this administration within the pages of this forum. But, I do know a few things: It is your right to think and speak your mind as you see fit. That’s America. What I don’t like are the lies that are being told to the American public, the finger pointing of blame, the division of this country between liberals and conservatives. It has the feel of “two” Americas’, each feeling that if you don’t feel our way you are un-American.

The tea party leaders are gaining ground solely because the hard working people in this country are sick and tired of politics. The status quo is not doing the job. Will this group have the momentum to actually make a difference for the long term? I don’t know. But for the first time in a very long time, we see average people, not professional politicians, that are willing to take time out of their daily lives and fight to make a difference.

Obama says on national TV, his health plan will not increase taxes…a big lie. The increases in capital gains taxes alone on investment dividends will significantly hurt the average citizen’s retirement investments.

Obama does not understand economics. He wants to punish American companies overseas. Well, that ship sailed decades ago. We live in a global economy and many factors, including powerful unions, have sent our corporation overseas. The fact is American companies around the world hold about 500 billion dollars in foreign banks. We need that money back home. Why is money not in our banks? Because of the tax rate, which is the highest in the world. If Obama was smart, he would lower the tax rate and get that money back here. Do you know what an infusion of 500 billion dollars would do for this country?

I could go on and on…but I think you know where I stand.

'Twas the night before elections and all through the town

tempers were flaring, emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe with a cat in my lap

had cut off the TV tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden there arose such a noise,

I peered out my window, saw Obama and his boys.

They had come for my wallet; they wanted my pay

to give to the others who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money; and, quick as a wink,

jumped back on his bandwagon as I gagged from the stink.

He then rallied his henchmen who were pulling his cart.

I could tell they were out to tear my country apart!

On Fannie, on Freddie, on Biden and Ayers!

On Acorn, on Pelosi, he screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause, and, as he flew out of sight,

I heard him laugh at the nation who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think on this one final note-

IF YOU DON'T WANT SOCIALISM GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Amen

Just curious, but where were you armchair pundits during the failed eight years of the mistake that was the bush regime? I am none too happy with the minimal expansion of government under President Obama but I complained under baby bush. Where were you guys? Are you smart enough to acknowledge that government expanded greatly and the abuse of powers were extreme under bush? Oh, yeah that's right he was your party so the party was on. Leave the bill for the kids was OK then, but now that you're suffering the hang-over from the juvenile frat-party of the bush regime you're all mad because you're not getting your abuse-the-common-citizen-in-favor-of-corporate-welfare way.

The Bush years were none too hot but there was not the blantant socialism of this administration. I think we should vote every incumbent out of both parties and start over with a clean slate. If we don't get real representation of the people I truly hope the dissatisfaction will allow a viable third party to emerge be it Liberterian, Tea Party, or whatever.

Posted

If the Bush years was the cause for all this mess, then why are things worse now? And, why has there not been steps to get us headed in the right direction? At this point, I don't think putting blame on the past is the answer. If a ball team lost in the past with players from the past, how does that affect the team and how it plays now? I understand residual effects, but that only explains the issue to a certain point.

I think there are vast amounts of people today that do not like the direction of where this administration is headed. I am one of those people. Spending boat loads of money is not the answer, and I really don't care if a democratic does or or republic does it, it's just wrong. Plus, moving toward bigger government is not the answer either.

The Bush admin supproted big biz. Big biz expands, new jobs created. New jobs means more folks payin income tax. More income tax allows Governmnet to help those IN NEED. No they were not the hottest ticket in town BUT they did not force me to take health insurance I dont want. They did not spend trillionms to bail out unions (read auto makers) and banks that laoned money on overvalued homes (read Deocratic party controlled Fannie and Freddie). I have not yet seen any assitance for small business which is the backbone of America. What many dont or WONT realize is the last 2 years of the Bush admin was chocked by a Demcratic controlled house and senate. When did the recession begin! Now we are facing one of the most socalized administartions EVER in the history of the United States. You CANNOT continue to spend in the manner that has been the norm for the last 2 years and expect there not be repercussions. Do you continue to max out your credit cards and not consider how it will be paid for ? I love the United States of America ! I DO NOT like where she is headed. And the nice thng about living in America allows us to disagree and allows you to make dispargeing remarks Trusted. I will not attack you directly but I will state the facts. HMMM, so TTM what you are saying is Bush was a failure for doing the same things as Obama but Obama is a saint? I don't get it. If Bush was so terrible there should be the same, or more, hatred for Obama's policys. Bush was one of the most liberal conservatives there ever was. There were only a few things he was conservative about: Abortion, Guns and the Military. With Obama we don't even have that.

Here is one view on the current administration. I do not care for the language but the points are well taken.

Great Video! Tells it all

(The langage is a bit offensive, but I am old fashion)
