Looking for Job/ Employment Position Descriptions

Recommended Posts

I have been in business for quite a few years but am just now getting to the point where I realize that I really need to create and implement job/employment position descriptions. I am looking for someone who already has them implemented and would be willing to share or help me to develop descriptions for apprentice, journeyman and master technicians. I wrote our policies and procedures and am currently working on a Standard Operating Procedures manual for the company but really have no experience or enough background in how to write an effective job description, nor what to really include. If anyone is willing to help me I would greatly appreciate it. You can email me at [email protected] and I would be willing to trade or help write policies and procedures and SOP's if you are looking for one. Thank you again.

Most websites and website designers these days follow the guideline of 160 characters when writing website page meta descriptions. When they are longer, Google just truncates them to 160...well until December 2017 when Google decided to accept that number to be around 300 with some recommending to make it 320. If your web designer wrote your website page descriptions shorter, you aren't taking advantage of the description tag to better your SEO and possibly your click-through rate. It's time to look at your website pages to be sure.

I have been working on job descriptions for my employees for quite some time now and am looking for anyone out there who may be using these in their business already. I am preferably looking for job descriptions for Apprentice, Journeyman and Master Technicians. If anyone has job descriptions they would be willing to share I would greatly appreciate the help. I am willing to share what I have so far also if anyone is looking for some ideas. You can email me directly at [email protected]
Thank you in advance for help, ideas or suggestions you may have.
