This is totally non-auto related, but I do love football. I am big Jet's fan and have been since the days of Joe Namath (giving away my age, right?). Anyway, would like hear from other football fans out there; predications, thoughts?

My team (Green Bay) has went down as well as my second choice Arizona(I like Curt Warner). Of the remaining teams I will root for Indianapolis since I am in Indiana although I like the NFC better. Joe, I too am old enough to remember Joe Namath. You have suffered a long time. Maybe this will be your year. If I were betting I would probably pick San Diego.

Jets fans are used to suffering. My son who lives in L.A. is actually going to the game.
As a Jet fan my favorite expression is..."There's always next year"
We will see...

Since you are a Jets fan I hope the Jets win. Do you root for the Giants any? I have never been a New York fan except for the old time Yankees (Mantle and Maris) and the Knicks (Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe). The reason I say I would pick San Diego is it just seems that San Diego is really hot. They may actually win the whole thing.

How about those Jets! Congratulations Joe! I guess you know I have to root against you next week! Go Colts and Peyton!

Thanks. Can you believe it! No one gave them a chance. A rookie QB and a rookie coach. Can't get better than this.

Grew up a Bills fan and then moved to TN in 1996 and became a Titan's fan when they came to TN. Love watching football. Was very glad to see the Vikings kill the Cowboys (my most hated team).

I agree with you on the Cowboys and I like the Titans as well. I would hate to be the Chargers Place Kicker.

Joe, I am sorry that your Jets lost but I am glad the Colts won (I am in Indiana after all). The Jets played well but Manning was just too much in the end. My prediction now is the Colts will win the Super Bowl. The Vikings should have won but how can you with 5 turn overs.

Jet fans are too used to dissapointment, but I was really praying this year. With a rookie QB and Coach it would have been hard. Manning is just too good. He picked apart the Jets like they were a high school team.
The Colts should go all the way.

I am pleased that the Colts are in the Super Bowl and New Orleans. I was rooting for Favre and he should have been there but NO fans have suffered for a long time so I am happy for them. My greatest joy is that there are no Steelers, Patriots, or Cowboys. No offense to anyone who roots for those teams but those are teams that I am not fond of.

I felt bad for Farve. He got beat up pretty bad, but hung in there. He is one tough SOB. They should have won that game.

Been a vikings fan since I was a kid, that was a really tough loss, the vikes beat themselves for the most part. Hats off to the Saints for getting at Farve, he was pretty beat up. I was really looking forward to a Manning vs Farve superbowl, 2 of the all time greats in a championship!! I'll be cheering for the Saints as they have never been to a bowl game......but IMO Manning is just too smart of a qb for them to handle. Should be a great game.

I feel the same what. It would have been nice to have Farve in the Super Bowl. He is a real warrior.
I say the Colts by 2 touch downs.

Congratulations to the Saints. They have been door mats for many years but no longer. They deserved to win. Sorry Peyton but the interception and the first half dropped pass were the game.

I was happy to see the Saints win. It's their first ever win and they are a great team. It was a good game.

Since I didn't really have a favorite team it was just good to see a great superbowl. The best playing team won.
