We have a 1998 Chev. suburban in the shop came in with a bad brake peddle found rear brakes down to rivets with drum's on the rear also found power booster has a leak when pushing on peddle possible caused by leaking master cylinder, we replaced both of these also we bled the system and can get a great breaks when the Vachel is not running but when you start the Vachel the peddle goes to the floor and we cannot get anymore air out of the system i think we have possibly 2 gallons already used in the process also we thought the problem was possibly front calipers also replaced them no change also changed the front break hoses also no change and today i have tried the power bleater and this also has no change it does have 4 wheel abs we used our modis to activate the abs also no change I think i am ready to go crazy over this one has anybody else had this problem and if so what is the answer or the fix? I have been in business for almost 13 years and have been successfull for the most part but lately with the mild winter we just had it just seems like a big game of catch up and i can't seem to make much headway in the $ dept.. I have asked my accountant for some help with this but he doesnt seem to have time to help me get the # I need, or they talk in terms that i do not under stand. What i need is a simple as possible explanation of how to find my brake even # to just make sure i am going in the right direction every month I am sick of playing catch up and it makes for some not very fun days. I did the ATI program, I am a small shop and was convinced that this was the answer to all my troubles I made it through most of the program before we had a fire in my old building and were out of business for about a year.
