Stuck out in St Louis, could not make it home. NYC got buried.

  3. Finished up the next video for Dayco Products. This time I was the guy doing all the talking... pretty neat gig. Don't know how it will turn out, it's going to take a bunch of editing. It's not so much being in front of the camera as it is trying to get all the words they want in one take. Really takes some practice to get this down. Hopefully the next bunch I do will keep getting better and better.

  4. The devastation in Moore Oklahoma is far worse than you can imagine. Lives disrupted, families and belongings gone. Please pray for these folks and their community. Pictures do NOT do justice to the carnage. Drive through one of these areas and you'll have a different respect for mother nature.

I speak for all when I say our prayers are with those affected by this.

  5. What a night in Oklahoma. Tornado touched down about 5 miles from my house. My wife and I were at a restaurant at the time... which was only a mile from it. I actually saw the tornado drop out of the sky while I was having a beer and eating chips and salsa. The rushed all the patrons to the backroom. It passed us in about 20 minutes. Then, we reordered or meals. LOL... what a night. Wife can't say I don't take her anywhere exciting now. LOL

  6. From the time I open the doors til' the time I close them I've been super busy the last couple of weeks. I know it won't last... school starts in a few weeks, I don't know why but that always slows the shop down. Enjoy it while ya can I guess.

For us, the summers are very busy, it does slow up when school starts, then picks up to the X-mas holidays.

  10. Just got back in town from an extended Memorial day weekend. Got the boy back from college, played some golf, and stopped in at a few automotive repair shops. Pretty cool. Hopefully the shops I stopped at will check out ASO now that they know about this site.

  12. Had an 02 Explorer in today with a door ajar light stuck on.  The guy had it at another shop who charged him for a door jam switch but it came right back on.  They told him to come see me.  I've got an IDS, but it's been so long I forgot which cable to use to get into the security side of things.  (that's where you can see all the door ajar switches)  well, when I finally got it all figured out and saw it on the screen the other shop changed the wrong switch.   What I'd like to know is how in the HELL did they determine which switch it was without properly diagnosing it.   I think they guessed..and guessed wrong.

Gee, I get to see what it's like...looking forward to the time off. BTW my shop is full...with work waiting. Mostly restorati...
