WELCOME BACK JOE !

Well my vacation is all but done. A few more days and it's back to the shop. This has been great... taking a few weeks off was just what I needed. By next weekend I'll be back to my usual articles and silly comments. Glad ya got by without me. LOL just kiddin. Take a vacation .. it's worth it.

Well the SEMA/AAPEX show is over for another year. I didn't make it over to the SEMA show because of all the work I had to do. For me it was a non-stop jog through the entire place trying to get to the next interview I needed to do. If you were there and I didn't get a chance to say Hi, sorry about that. I thought I'd have some down time but it turned out I didn't have much time to myself at all. Still in all...it was a great event. I'll do it again next year.

Well, I guess I forgot, I did have a story for this week afterall. Oops... just posted it.

Well, just a few more days of vacation left. Back on the plane Thursday. This has been a blast. If you never thought of taking a 2 week vacation or thought it would be too expensive and you couldn't make the time to do it... You're totally wrong... Do it.. It is worth it. By this coming weekend I'

What a night in Oklahoma. Tornado touched down about 5 miles from my house. My wife and I were at a restaurant at the time... which was only a mile from it. I actually saw the tornado drop out of the sky while I was having a beer and eating chips and salsa. The rushed all the patrons to the backroom. It passed us in about 20 minutes. Then, we reordered or meals. LOL... what a night. Wife can't say I don't take her anywhere exciting now. LOL

What a trip so far. If you've been following the weather patterns in the central US, the storm cel that ran from Texas to Ohio is where I'm at. Drove thru the whole thing... I lost count of the funnel clouds I have seen. Unbelievable. Rain coming down so hard I coulnd't hear my wife screaming from the passenger seat. My son is in the back seat and tells me, "Great vacation dad, let's start out with being paralyzed with fear." Totally intensen... what a trip so far.

what a week I've had... weird buss line problems, no comm. issues. blocked CAN lines... and to top it all off the cord to the tech two broke a wire internally... had to pick up a new one... add the cord, a new OBDII plug I was out another 450.00 bucks... yea, real nice week.

With 2 weeks of snow around here I wasn't expecting much to offset the lack of business. How wrong I was... last week was extremely busy. Even though it didn't quite make up for 2 weeks off... it sure was busy.

Working on my backyard project again this weekend. Time to put the sheathing on the roof. Ok, who's helping? Any takers? Could use a couple of hands... free beer when the last piece is up.

Working on my backyard project... typical me... I plan on doing this in the August heat... I've got 2 more trusses to put up today before it gets to over a 100. it's 96 right now and it's not even 10 oclock... Note to self: don't lay metal tools in the sun... man they can get hot ... LOL... ouch ouch ouch

Wow, things are looking up... got a whole 2 days at the shop instead of one... now, snowed in again... another foot of snow and close to 0 degrees outside. this really sucks.
