I live near the Los Angeles area so if you get any promising leads or need someone to make a personal visit/invite let me know. I've always wanted to meet Jay and tour his garage. In fact, one of my autobody teachers at the local community college, Cecil Hernandez, is one of Jay's main autobody gurus. Unfortunately I wasn't able to keep in touch with Cecil after I took his class but I'm sure he's still around working with Jay.
