I am back from South America and glad to be back

Friends I will not be on the chat room tonight or next week. I am headed to Iquitos, Peru, SA in the Amazon jungle with my oldest grandson (15) Monday morning. Won't be back until the 7th.

Last week was the best week in November that we have ver had.

My service manager has been on vacation for a week. I have been running the shop by myself. That is a heavy load. Glad he will be back Saturday.

Good day. Hopefully changes being implemented will be good for our business.

Business has been soft. I am headed to Tennessee to see my daughter and won't be back until Sunday.

Sorry for the bad weather but it missed us by about 75 miles to the west and north. We have more cars in the shop than what I know what to do with.

Enjoying today with family. Lunch at 1:00 and candle light church service at 3:00. The big day is tomorrow with all the trimmings and presents.

I have the second grandson born in the last 6 weeks. Today Grayson Matthew Jones was born at 9:50 a.m. in Chattanooga, Tennessee and I was there.

Business was strong this week. I like it!

A grandson, my son's son, was born at 3:00 this morning. He is a big healthy boy. This is number 8.

Glad the election is over and I like the results other than still hvaing Harry Reid around.

We are in the midst of the worst drought in my lifetime. No significant rain amounts in the last 90 days. 0.28 inches for the month of October.

Enjoying hugs and kisses from two of my granddaughters and reading them stories before I go to the shop.

Enjoying a day off today and going to my youngest granddaughters second birthday party in about one hour. It has been honey do this morning.

We closed a good week with a good Saturday and have a lot on the sechedule for Monday.

Incredibly hot here. 99 today andc 101 forecast for tomorrow. Shop almost too hot to work after 2:00 p.m.

If you decide to go back to Ohio I would just mention there is a possibility of buying a Car-X franchise in Dayton. The guy who owns the two shops there has several shops in Cinncinnati and in Indianapolis but the Dayton shops are just kind of odd children. One of the shops does real well the other is so so.
