VISA DEBIT VERSUS VISA CREDIT VERSUS MASTERCARD
cmc replied to DUFRESNES's topic in Credit Cards, Payments, Financing
We had the same thing happen earlier this year. It turned out that the terminal we were using had not been properly certified by the credit processor and could not take pin debits as of the date some new regulations went into effect. Upgrading to a newer terminal solved that problem. I didn't appreciate the upgrade costs but the new machine defaults to debit without us asking if it is a debit card so the savings have more than offset the upgraded costs. -

We are off for the last three months ourselves. I had one on one meetings with my techs this morning talking about our courtesy inspections and maximizing every ticket. My software tracks who wrote what up. I do not want to sell anything that is not needed but I dam sure want to sell everything that we can see. My problem is that as a tech I was taught and did write everything up that I could. That led me into having my own shop. Everyone is not an A level tech. I do my best to attracted them but it is tough out there. So I just grind it out with my guys and try to stay on top of it. When my car count is up and my write ups are down something is wrong.

ATI/Chris "Chubby" Frederick
cmc replied to xrac's topic in Management Coaching, Business Training, Consulting
Hi Robbie, can you give us an update on how it's going? We just attended another of the one day seminars and we got a lot out of it. We've attended 3 other of the ATI one day seminars in the last few years. After each one we implemented some the things we learned and it has helped our bottom line considerably. From the descriptions of the program and training in the 30-month program it sounds really good but the steep price is pretty scary. -
Do you provide/pay for uniforms for your employees?
cmc replied to mspecperformance's topic in Human Resources, Employees
We pay the full cost of the uniforms, it's one of the perks we provide. However many of our employees have reported that they had to pay part of the cost at former employment.
